Who runs Daily Menu

Daily Menu is operated by Sparrows'Nest in Italy.

Data we process

Account data: email address, nickname, verification status, Supabase authentication identifiers, and authentication/session tokens.

App data: recipes, recipe tags, ingredients, preparation steps, source labels, source URLs, planner entries, meal notes, preferences, shopping-list settings, friends, groups, friend requests, and notification counts.

Import data: recipe URLs submitted for import, recipe images uploaded for OCR/import, extracted text, and uploaded recipe photos.

Notification data: browser push endpoints and push keys when notifications are enabled.

Local device data: offline planner snapshots, preferences, recipe photos, service-worker caches, and app state stored in browser storage.

Why we process data

To provide accounts, login, email verification, password reset, sync, friends/groups, recipe management, planner storage, imports, uploads, offline use, and web push notifications.

To maintain security, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and operate the service.

Storage and recipients

Data may be stored in the Daily Menu backend database, the shared Supabase/Auth stack, browser local storage, IndexedDB, service-worker caches, and deployment storage for uploaded recipe photos.

Email delivery, push notification delivery, hosting, database, registry, logging, and infrastructure providers may process data as service providers.

Recipe-site import requests contact the third-party recipe site selected by the user.

Cookies, local storage, and ads

Daily Menu uses local browser storage and service-worker caches for strictly necessary app behavior, offline support, login state, preferences, recipes, and local photos.

Analytics, advertising, or profiling storage should remain disabled unless a compliant consent flow is added before those scripts load.

If Google AdSense or another ad provider is enabled, the privacy and cookie notices must be updated and consent must be collected where required.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains on the user's device until the user clears browser/app data, logs out where the app clears scoped local data, or deletes local content.

Server data is kept while the account is active or as needed to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations.

The app includes a Daily Menu account deletion flow. Deleting a Daily Menu account removes Daily Menu app rows for recipes, planner snapshots, preferences, friends/groups, pending friend requests, tokens, and push subscriptions.

The shared Sparrows'Nest/Supabase authentication identity remains active because it may be used by other apps in the same shared account stack.

How to delete your account

Signed-in users can delete their Daily Menu account from Account > Delete Account. The confirmation dialog explains what will be removed, lists other shared-stack apps when detected, and links to the shared Sparrows'Nest account site for full shared-account deletion.

After Daily Menu deletion, logging in again with the same email may create a new Daily Menu app account while the shared Sparrows'Nest identity remains unchanged.

If you cannot access the app, contact support@nid.us.com or privacy@nid.us.com and include the email address used for the account.

User rights

Depending on location, users may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, object to, or restrict processing of their personal data.

Users can export recipes from the app and can request account deletion from the account screen.

Children and sensitive data

Daily Menu is not intended for children and should not be used to store special-category or sensitive personal data.

Recipe and meal data may reveal preferences or habits; users should avoid entering information they do not want stored or shared with invited friends/groups.

Dati trattati

Dati account: email, nickname, stato di verifica, identificativi Supabase di autenticazione e token di autenticazione/sessione.

Dati app: ricette, tag, ingredienti, passaggi, fonti, URL fonte, pianificazione pasti, note, preferenze, impostazioni lista spesa, amici, gruppi, richieste amicizia e conteggi notifiche.

Dati importazione: URL ricetta inviati per import, immagini caricate per OCR/import, testo estratto e foto ricette caricate.

Dati notifiche: endpoint push del browser e chiavi push quando le notifiche sono abilitate.

Dati locali: snapshot offline del planner, preferenze, foto ricette, cache service worker e stato app salvati nel browser.

Finalità del trattamento

Fornire account, accesso, verifica email, reset password, sincronizzazione, amici/gruppi, gestione ricette, salvataggio planner, importazioni, caricamenti, uso offline e notifiche web push.

Mantenere sicurezza, diagnosticare errori, prevenire abusi e gestire il servizio.

Archiviazione e destinatari

I dati possono essere archiviati nel database backend Daily Menu, nello stack Supabase/Auth condiviso, in local storage del browser, IndexedDB, cache service worker e storage di deploy per foto ricette caricate.

Provider di email, push, hosting, database, registry, logging e infrastruttura possono trattare dati come fornitori del servizio.

Le richieste di import da sito ricette contattano il sito terzo scelto dall'utente.

Cookie, storage locale e pubblicità

Daily Menu usa storage locale del browser e cache service worker per funzioni strettamente necessarie: offline, stato login, preferenze, ricette e foto locali.

Analytics, pubblicità o storage di profilazione devono restare disabilitati finché non viene aggiunto un consenso conforme prima del caricamento degli script.

Se Google AdSense o altri provider pubblicitari vengono abilitati, informative privacy/cookie devono essere aggiornate e il consenso deve essere raccolto dove richiesto.

Conservazione e cancellazione

I dati locali restano sul dispositivo finché l'utente cancella i dati del browser/app, esegue logout dove l'app pulisce i dati locali, o elimina i contenuti.

I dati server sono conservati mentre l'account è attivo o per quanto necessario a gestire, proteggere e rispettare obblighi legali.

L'app include una cancellazione account Daily Menu. Eliminare un account Daily Menu rimuove le righe app Daily Menu per ricette, snapshot planner, preferenze, amici/gruppi, richieste amicizia pendenti, token e sottoscrizioni push.

L'identità condivisa Sparrows'Nest/Supabase resta attiva perché può essere usata da altre app nello stesso stack account condiviso.

Come cancellare l'account

Gli utenti autenticati possono eliminare l'account Daily Menu da Account > Elimina account. La finestra di conferma spiega cosa viene rimosso, mostra le altre app dello stack condiviso quando rilevate e collega il sito account Sparrows'Nest per la cancellazione completa dell'account condiviso.

Dopo la cancellazione Daily Menu, un nuovo accesso con la stessa email può creare un nuovo account app Daily Menu mentre l'identità condivisa Sparrows'Nest resta invariata.

Se non puoi accedere all'app, contatta support@nid.us.com o privacy@nid.us.com e includi l'email usata per l'account.

Diritti dell'utente

A seconda del luogo, gli utenti possono avere diritti di accesso, rettifica, esportazione, cancellazione, opposizione o limitazione del trattamento.

Gli utenti possono esportare ricette dall'app e richiedere la cancellazione account dalla schermata account.

Minori e dati sensibili

Daily Menu non è destinata ai minori e non deve essere usata per salvare categorie particolari di dati o dati personali sensibili.

Ricette e pasti possono rivelare preferenze o abitudini; evitare di inserire informazioni che non si vogliono archiviare o condividere con amici/gruppi invitati.
